Put foam under glass tank ?

Do you recommend putting foam right under glass tank (between tank and stand) to compensate for future wood warping of stand ? Pros & cons ?

nope, no need. your tank HAS to be perfectly level anyways.if your stand warps then goodby tank. some will use the real thin stuff 1/4'' to set there minds at ease but I just threw it on the stand.

I have heard people argue that it help keep the tank warmer and saves power but i have never noticed the difference.

Ya like johnny said make sure that your stand is perfectly level and you should be ok. When I was making my stand I took twice as long as I nornally would because I didn't want to have to screw aound with leveling it later. Just my thoughts on the whole thing.
