Never heard of the stuff before, but it sound very interesting.
I wonder if it really works? or if it harms anything other than the algea.
You could always just wip up some kalk paste I'm sure it would kill hair algea. I not sure if it's safe to use in large quantites tough....due to the high PH level.

The best cure for hair algae I've found is a long spined diadema urchin.

Susan, do they not munch ALL algae including Corralline? I have 5 lettuce Nudies' but they seem disinterested.....

Lettuce seaslugs eat bryopsis and nothing else.
Diadema urchins do a great job of helping to spread coralline. They will also keep your rocks clean so that hair and bryopsis can't get started again. The only drawback I've found is that you need to glue down your corals but you really should do this anyway.

I bought the stuff quite a while ago to do just that but have hesitated because I'm worried if I have to move something I won't be able to....?I have mainly softies and when they grow I 've been having to move stuff around due to the stinging....like my Sinularia I must have moved it three times...grrr. How big do they get? Do you have a link I could peruse? Thanks for your help.
