ARC 175MH 14K bulb

I just received one of the 14K 175s that Ivan has on sale and fired it up. Looks very nice! Heh more then just a hint of blue!

What kind of ballast do you have?

I have problems with certain bulbs. For example, Sunaquatics 10K turns yellow green on my ballast. However, PFO bulbs works great for me. I am trying to figure out if ARC will be good for me too.

The ARC 14K looks good with my ballast and I have a 175W PFO !!

Peluche... have you tried a Sun 14 or 20k? I always found their 10k's to be green/yellow in the first place.

or

Give the ARC lamp a try... if you don't like the color... or it shifts on you... we can swap it for another K rating or lamp brand all together.

Ivan, I tried the 10K from Sunaquatics. Not only did it produce yellow-green light with my ballast, but my ballast had trouble firing it up. However, I really like the 13K bulb from PFO I bought from you several months ago. And thanks for the offer. N’ext time I change my bulb, I will give the 13K ARC a try. At that price, if it works good for me, I will change the bulb every 3 months.

i am running the 14k ARC and I got to say.. its the color i want. works fine from me... lots of blue..

so far.. can't complain. :)

Were running extremely low on 14k's.. we do have 20k's instock and expect another large shipment to arrive in 2-3 weeks.
