R/O set-up

I have set up a R/O system using two 22 gallon tubs. one as a reservoir, and the second to mix in...
Just wondering about the water that is released from the R/O unit that is the waste water. Can it be used for anything else around the house, Watering plants ect...?
Just seems a bit of a waste throwing it down the drain...

Sure you can use that water.Its good for watering plants and a whole lot of other things even drinking it,dont let it go to waste the R/O already filtered out alot of the contaminants so its way better than whats coming out of your tap. I used to put mine in our washer,but now with the front loader its being used for the garden except in winter where it goes back into sewer via washer drain.
