membrane brands?

I was in one of my local dealers the other day. Talking about membranes. And told me that "DOW Filmtec" membranes are the best. Is he just tryin to sell me what he sells? I assumed they are all generally the same. What are some good brands?

Don't take mt word as the final answer as I'm not 100% certain..., but I seem to remember reading that there are not many actual manufacturers of membranes and in fact, Dow Corning may indeed be the only one but that they make them for other brands/labels as well. Yes they are good though so you will be fine using them.

I agree with touchy- I seem to have heard the same thing...maybe I heard it from toutouche.......maybe he heard it from me......not sure...we can't BOTH be wrong can we?? :)
